At Wellington Preparatory Academy, tutors are more than educators — they are trusted partners in a family’s academic journey and stewards of the Wellington legacy. To uphold our commitment to personalized, world-class virtual education, all tutors must adhere to the following expectations
1. Professionalism at All Times
• Maintain a polished, respectful demeanor in all communications with parents, students, and staff
• Be punctual and prepared for every session
• Dress professionally when on video
• Use professional and appropriate language at all times
2. Certified Instruction
• Only teach within the subject(s) and grade level(s) you are certified in
• Provide high-quality, accurate academic support in alignment with Wellington’s curriculum and enrichment goals
• Submit updated certification credentials as requested
Virtual Excellence
• Be fluent in using virtual tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, or preferred Wellington platforms
• Ensure a stable internet connection and quiet, professional environment for all sessions
• Make use of screen sharing, interactive tools, and visual supports to enhance engagement
🔹 4. Communication & Collaboration
• Respond to parent inquiries within 24 hours
• Provide regular feedback on student progress, strengths, and areas for growth
• Collaborate with the student’s Legacy Coach or academic team when needed
• Maintain clear, respectful boundaries with both students and families
